In-depth session Tygron Water Module; From data to insight – with Tygron Platform 2026

On April 21, we organized an in-depth session for experienced users of the Tygron Water Module. Do you work with the Tygron Platform on water and spatial challenges and do you want to get more out of your analyses? This in-depth session was for users who want to maintain control over data and models themselves, and use the Water Module to strengthen their own working methods.

Since March 6, 2026, the new Tygron Platform 2026 has become available to all users. The 2026 release features a large number of improvements. In this in-depth session, we  discussed a number of these improvements and what this could mean for your work.

Tygron Platform 2026

At Tygron, we understand that as an expert, you want full control over your analyses. Your advice stands or falls with the quality of your data, the chosen approach, and your ability to explain exactly what happened. That is why you want to be able to track in detail how calculations are generated – from input to result – and not have a black box that you cannot account for.

The 2026 release is entirely dedicated to maximum user control, from data integration and analysis setup to generating and sharing insights.

  • Better data integration: easier and broader data linking as a basis for analyses
  • More flexibility in analyses: build, customize, and reuse analyses yourself
  • From data to insight: powerful combination of data and simulations to support decision-makers with substantiated analyses
  • Sharing insights: more options to unlock results via dashboards, web apps, and maps
  • Support with AI and APIs: automate repetitive steps with tools, while you see exactly which calculations and choices were made.

The in-depth session was a pragmatic session where you can work on a number of subjects under our guidance. We have developed concrete manuals for you to use, which will inspire you regarding what the latest functionalities can mean for your own work process.

We offered a number of topics from which you can choose to work with us:

  • We demonstrated how you can use an LLM to generate your own insights from your own Tygron project. This allowed you to get started immediately, under our guidance.
  • Better insight into your water balance: where does the water come from, where does it go, and what are the effects of measures such as greening, housing construction, or adjustments to the water system?
  • We demonstrated the degrees of freedom to create your own dashboards, and during this session, you could get started yourself under our guidance to create your own dashboard.

In addition, we highlighted the key changes to the Tygron Platform 2026 and what they could mean for you.
