SEMINAR API

This seminar is intended for hydrologists with experience with the Tygron Water Module who have the ambition to link their own applications (such as scripts, data, models and dashboards) to the Tygron Water Module. You will learn to work with the API and how you as a user can link your own intelligence and applications to the Tygron Water module. This seminar is the basis for more advanced API applications, such as those found in the API Flood and API water system training courses

Topics covered:

• You will learn what the possibilities are of the API of the Tygron Water module.
• In what ways you as a user can work via various (open) standards (think of GeoJSON, WFS, WMS, GeoTiff) that are supported by the Tygron Water module.
• We discuss several example scripts in different programming languages (including R, Python, JAVA, PHP and JavaScript) that have already been created by hydrologists on the Tygron Water module.
• The principles of the API, different authentication levels and security and the Tygron Developer Hub of the Tygron Geodesign Platform
