Tygron has been nominated for the Geo Prestige Award 2026! A wonderful recognition of our contribution to the use of geo-information and Digital Twins in spatial decision-making.
For us, geo is no longer just about showing what is there, but above all about exploring what is possible. With the Tygron Platform, municipalities, provinces, and consultants can use their own geo-data and calculation models to evaluate scenarios and gain insight into the consequences of spatial choices.
The jury appreciates this approach and describes Tygron as:
“A compelling example of how geo-information and digital twins contribute to better-substantiated spatial decision-making.”
We are proud of this nomination. It also shows that the role of geo-information is changing: from mapping the existing situation to actively supporting scenario development and decision-making. A development that we also see among other nominees and that we warmly welcome.
The winner will be announced on Monday evening, November 16, during GeoBuzz 2026 in 's-Hertogenbosch.
